Important Indian double-edged sword. The blade has a slightly widened tip and is made of finely grained Wootz damask. The back of the blade and ricasso is embellished with openwork iron overlays with rich inlays of fine gold. It has a characteristic riveted handle clamp with all-over floral gold inlays. The iron bow hilt has well-preserved all-over gold inlays. The hilt is still has its original red damask covering. The wooden scabbard is covered in yellow textile. It also has solid gold fittings with finely openwork and floral decorations.
