A very large impressive and beautiful, 20th century Islamic, hand-crafted embroidery. The intricate embroidery is the result of a labor of love by several people spending months working on it. Very much like the original one that was made in 1224 HD (1808 AD).
The sitar is shaped like the historical doors of the Kaaba. On it are written the 99 names of Allah and several surah’s including al-Fatiha and al Ikhlaas. The texts are embroidered in silver.
The sitar is in very good condition. The dimensions are 310 by 165 cm and it weighs 17 kg.
