A 19th century silver Ottoman basin. The basin has a wide edge and a deep bowl. The outer rim of the edge is decorated with an engraved leaf-like pattern. It bears the the tughra of a sultan and a stamp.
The basin used to be part of a set with an ewer and on its own still a beautiful piece.
