This is an Islamic, Persian, Astrolabe made of brass. The mater is marked every 5°, 0-360° degrees, and it has a 1° graduated edge.
It has five engraved plates with stereographic projections on both sides, all with inscriptions of hours of worship. There are 30 named star markers, and a shadow square for trigonometric calculations. On the the inverse a diagram of unequal hours.
