A very large impressive and beautiful, 20th century Islamic, hand-crafted embroidery. The intricate embroidery is the result of a labor of love by several people spending months working on it.
The sitar is shaped like the historical doors of the Kaaba. In the four corners are the names of Abu Baker, Omar, Ali and Othman. At the top it says Bismillah al-Rahmaan al-Rahim. And around the center there are parts of several verses of different suras.
The sitar is in very good condition. The dimensions are 230 by 147 cm and 12 kg.
