This item is a Salham or Barnos costume, which is a long woollen cape that includes a hood and has no sleeves.
The name comes from "Branus", which is an old name for the Berbers of Morocco. Historically, they were divided into two, the Baranous and Petra. The origin of the Berbers of the Pyrenees goes back to the mountains in the Atlas, located between Taza and the city of Fez.
