This 11th to 12th century AH (17th to18th century AD) circular plate has a serrated edge and features a fine calligraphy inscription in the central recess. The rest of the interior surface is adorned with eight cartouches, each showcasing a seated figure holding instruments and other objects. Between the cartouches are depictions of four-legged animals facing the center of the plate, and along the outer edge runs a decorative band of vegetal and floral decorations.
