This wonderful painting is of a Persian princes holding flowers. The brushwork is very delicate in the princes herself and the surrounding decorations. The painting is accompanied by a handwritten message above it. On the backside there is more text and it is dated 960 HZ (1544 AD) on the op the page to the right.
The aquarelle is on very delicate paper which shows signs of its age but is still in very good condition. The paper is 16 by 22 cm and placed in a passepartout.
