A beautiful handmade Qajar mirror from the early 19th century. It is rectangular made of paper-mâché and painted in polychrome with decorations of several scenes.
On the front a scene representing a couple accompanied by musicians. On the inside left, a Persian woman posing in formal ware and on the back a loving pair among a group of musicians. The mirror is placed on the inside right.
The piece is 22,5 X 15,5 cm and in very good condition.
