These 5 photographs are so called collotypes and there for limited editions.
Each is placed on a printed card with a caption and photographer's credit. Some have photographer's stamp on the image.
On the images are Arafat Hills, Masjid al-Nabawi, Amber gate or the main gate of Medina, Mosque of Hamza and the Jannat ul-Baquiya.
The photographs are early 20th century, some of them show slight worming and wear.
All photographs are 18 by 27 cm.

Collotype is a gelatin-based photographic printing process invented by Alphonse Poitevin in 1855 to print images in a wide variety of tones without the need for halftone screens. The majority of collotypes were produced between the 1870s and 1920s. It was the first form of photolithography.

Their works were produced both as photographs and postcards which were purchased by those who could not go on the hajj.
