The images are of Mecca with the Kabaa, the Jannat ul-Baquiya, Amber gate or the main gate of Medina, al-Masjid al-Nabawi, Quba mosque, Mosque of Hamza. There is some minor wear.
The photographs are placed in passepartout and surrounded by descriptive text in Arabic. Most have the official stamp of Mirza and Sons
These photographs are from the early 20th century and in good condition
All are 24.5 by 18.5 cm.

H.A. Mirza & Sons were photographers of Chandni Chowk, Delhi, India. They were noted for a rare album of photographs of Mecca and Medina which was published in Delhi on the 15th of October 1907. Their works were produced both as photographs and postcards which were purchased by those who could not go on the hajj.
