This handwritten letter from Sultan II Abdülhamid Tuğralı, is conferring Abdurrahman Effendi, the revenue of Kosovo, with the rank of i Ula Class Mecidi and the 3rd rank Osmani order.
The letter has a beautifully made, golden, Tughra at the top.
It is in very good condition although it is obvious that it has been folded and stored for some time.
It is large at 81 by 55 cm.
