Two 18-19th century Persian, Qajar paper-mache pencil cases

Two early 19^th century Qajar, paper-mâché pencil cases, painted and lacquered with polychrome characters. 

One is 22 cm and the other is 24 cm, there is some sign of usage but they are in general good condition.
